Karen Vallario

Vice President

A proud U.S. veteran, Karen Vallario brings a life of service, compassion, and entrepreneurial spirit to her role as Vice President. She honorably served in both the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic and in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and nurse—experiences that shaped her unwavering commitment to helping others.
Following her military service, Karen dedicated over 35 years to the nursing profession, with a strong focus on home care and geriatrics. Her work allowed her to care for some of the most vulnerable, and it ignited a lifelong passion for ensuring that everyone has access to safety, dignity, and compassion.
Now retired from nursing, Karen continues to serve in new ways. She runs a small, home-based dog sitting business and fosters dogs in need, combining her love for animals with her gift of caregiving. Her heart for service also drives her passion for creating affordable housing solutions, especially for individuals and families in difficult situations.
In addition to her healthcare and service background, Karen has owned and operated a custom motorcycle shop and a CPR training company—ventures that highlight her hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to life.
At the core of all Karen’s endeavors is a deep desire to uplift others, create loving environments, and make a meaningful impact in both the lives of people and the animals she cares for.
